Plane Carrying Prime Minister Has Close Call

NANTES, France —
A private plane carrying Prime Minister Laurent Fabius made an emergency landing here last week after one of its engines failed.
The plane was flying from Nantes to La Roche-sur-Yon when the pilot noticed the fire and turned the craft back to Nantes.
As he got out of the plane, Fabius told local officials: “See, I was having such a good time in Nantes that I decided to come back.”
