Computer Memories and Quantum settled a suit.

Computer Memories, a Chatsworth disk drive maker, paid Quantum $6 million to resolve a patent infringement case brought by the Milpitas, Calif.-based company in August, 1983. Computer Memories also agreed to stop making the disk drive involved in the suit and said it will introduce another disk drive to replace the discontinued one.
