Santa Monica : College Contract Proposal
The Santa Monica College Board of Trustees on Monday will formally respond to the opening proposal made by the college Faculty Assn. for a contract providing reduced teaching loads and an across-the-board salary increase.
No specific increase was designated in the 1986-87 collective bargaining proposal drafted by Peter Geltner, president-elect of the faculty organization and chairman of its negotiation council.
The proposal also calls for improved benefits for current and retired faculty.
