University of Minnesota basketball player Kevin Smith posted $4,000 bail after having spent one week in jail on sexual assault charges.
Smith has been charged with one count of first-degree sexual assault and one count of second-degree sexual assault involving an alleged rape after a game at Madison, Wis., Jan. 23.
The two other players charged in the incident, Mitchell Lee and George Williams, posted bail last Monday.
