UCSD Women Rally for Easy Win Over Pt. Loma
SAN DIEGO —
The UC San Diego women’s basketball team rallied from an early deficit to win going away, 69-48, over Pt. Loma College Tuesday night at UCSD’s Triton Pavilion.
Pt. Loma jumped out to a 20-6 lead, but the Tritons ran off a 31-9 streak to take a 37-29 lead at half time.
Point guard Shanda Elzy led UCSD (9-9) with 14 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds. Heidi Jungling scored 12 points and had 10 rebounds, Jennifer Gregory had 10 points and 9 rebounds.
