Three University of Minnesota basketball players were bound over for trial in Madison, Wis., after an 18-year-old woman testified at a preliminary hearing that she was sexually assaulted by the men in a motel room on Jan. 24.

Judge Robert Pekowsky said there was “probable cause that each of the three defendants did commit a felony.” He did not set a date for the trial.

The woman testified during a closed portion of the Dane County Circuit Court hearing. Her testimony was read back to reporters later in open court. She said she was held and repeatedly assaulted by the three men in various combinations over a period of about four hours.
