Medical tests of a women who said she was sexually assaulted by three University of Minnesota basketball players showed gonorrhea present, according to documents filed Friday in Dane County Circuit Court in Madison, Wis.
The documents did not indicate whether the 18-year-old Madison woman contracted the disease before or during the alleged assault.
Mitchell Lee, Kevin Smith and George Williams Jr. were ordered Thursday to stand trial on sexual assault charges stemming from an incident in a Madison hotel room early in the morning of Jan. 24. A trial date was not scheduled.
