Seat Belts Being Checked on 9,800 Yugo Cars in U.S.

Yugo America Inc. is recalling all 9,800 cars that it has sold in the United States for inspection and adjustment of seat-belt restraints.

The New Jersey-based auto maker said that the voluntary recall resulted from findings of internal inspections. There is no immediate risk involving the seat-belt restraints, the company said Friday.
