“Dirty Laundry,” a baby-budgeted drug-caper comedy being shot here for a possible fall release, has gone for the gold in its search for the green.

It stars Leigh McCloskey (Mitch in “Dallas”), but its zoo of goofy cameos includes trackster Carl Lewis and diver Greg Louganis, two Olympic golden boys making their Hollywood movie debuts.

Lewis spoofs Ricardo Tubbs of “Miami Vice,” and Louganis plays a girl-dripping surfer boy. As for those cameos:

Frankie (Four Seasons) Valli, as ex-lounge singer Macho Marty Benedictine, who constantly and cruelly croons while dealing cocaine.

Sony Bono, as sleazy rock manager Maurice.

Deanna Booher, roller-derby and pro wrestling’s own Queen Kong (all 6-foot-4, 240 pounds of her), as McCloskey’s leather-clad landlady.

John Moschita Jr., a.k.a. “Peter Pittsburgh” (the speed-speaking ex-Federal Expresser), and Miss California Bikini, Hope North, also are woven into a story line that has McCloskey as a rock ‘n’ roll sound mixer who unwittingly departs a laudromat with a laundry bag stuffed with drug loot, the bad guys hot on his heels.

Normally, you’d think McCloskey’s role would’ve been perfect for dash-man Lewis. But in his last indoor race he finished second and Sports Illustrated intimated that his movie moonlighting may have cut a few hundredths of a second off his time.

Maybe Hollywood went to his feet.
