Fullerton Wrestlers Lose Two Matches
Cal State Fullerton’s wrestling team dropped two matches in Fresno Saturday. The Titans lost a nonconference match to Boise State, 20-16, in the morning and then were crushed by Fresno State, 42-3, in a Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. match.
Titan sophomore Jose Flores scored a major decision at 177 pounds, beating Boise State’s Ed Holt, 15-2. Heavyweight Bob Button scored an 11-9 win over Pat McDade.
Fullerton’s only winner against Fresno State was freshman Scott Guy, who beat Chris Salisbury, 7-5, at 142 pounds. Guy is 4-0 in conference action.
