13 Boats Have Finished Manzanillo Race

Thirteen of the 28 yachts in the 1,100-mile San Diego-to-Manzanillo race had finished by late Saturday, but light winds in the Gulf of California near the Mexican mainland were making slow going for the tailenders

The boats that had finished were Sorcery, Prima, Kathmandu, Cheetah, Saga, Ragtime, Allure, Upbeat, Lone Star, Jubilation, Prima, Eclipse and Escape. Sorcery was first to finish Friday with an elapsed-time record of 6 days 59 minutes.
