The Election in the Philippines

We have let this blatant pretender carry on too far. What we must realize, especially now, is that the world is watching closely how we respond to this sick joke of an election. And if we should let Marcos get away with it, we will dim any hopes of our seriously influencing many Third World countries to follow the path of democracy. Communist powers will readily point to the Philippines as an example of how democracy fails.
