Pacific Palisades : Park Fund Nears Goal
A $5,000 contribution from the Rotary Club of Pacific Palisades and $3,100 from other community groups has brought the Palisades Recreation Center refurbishment fund to $41,400, according to chairman Steven Soboroff.
Soboroff said contributions have come in from church groups and the Junior Women’s Club of Pacific Palisades, among others. If donations exceed the goal of $45,000, Soboroff said additional equipment, such as Ping-Pong tables and tetherballs, will be purchased.
