James M. Hall has been elected vice president-product operations for Hughes Aircraft, Los Angeles. He had been general manufacturing manager for Delco Electronics, a unit of General Motors. The move marks the first appointment of a GM executive to a Hughes post following the auto maker’s acquisition of Hughes in December. As previously announced, Hughes Executive Vice President Malcolm R. Currie became the first Hughes official to go to GM when he was named president of Delco Electronics.
