Producer Ed Feldman appears to justify his making of “The Hitcher” with the rationale that it is a more worthy line of work than making porno movies. A moot point.
Porno movies, dealing as they do with nothing much more than endless copulations, seem to me much less harmful than mainline movies dealing with the butchering, burning and brutal abusing of humans in ever more gruesome ways.
I have an uncomfortable feeling that many of the people making films today were in a previous life directing the atrocities in the forums of ancient Rome.
