1st Building in New Town in Construction

Work has started on the first building in Orange County’s newest town: the 3,400-square-foot Rancho Santa Margarita Sales Information Center in the 5,000-acre Rancho Santa Margarita.
The Santa Margarita Co., master developer of the community, has invested $5.6 million in the first phase, which will include the information center, a beach club, swimming lagoon and park, according to a company spokesman. The center is expected to be completed this spring.
