Archbishop Undergoes Surgery to Remove Clot

DENVER —
Doctors declined Monday to speculate about the chances that Roman Catholic Archbishop James V. Casey, 71, will recover following surgery Sunday to remove a lemon-sized blood clot from the base of his brain. Casey was listed in critical condition at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
