Hotel Closes; Site of 1976 Legionnaire Disease Cases

The historic Bellevue Stratford Hotel, site of the legionnaire’s disease outbreak in 1976 that killed 29 people, closed its doors Friday for the last time. The Bellevue’s owner, Rubin & Associates, plans to renovate the structure into a multi-use building with office and retail space and a small luxury hotel.
