Local News in Brief : Motorcycle Crash Kills Thousand Oaks Man

A Thousand Oaks man was killed early Monday when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed, a Ventura County sheriff’s spokesman said.
Blaine Jay Smith, 28, was eastbound on Olsen Road at Sunset Hills Boulevard in Thousand Oaks when the accident occurred just after midnight, authorities said. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene of head and internal injuries, a Ventura County coroner’s spokeswoman said.
