Local News in Brief : Man Is Found Slain Outside Pacoima Bar
A 29-year-old Pacoima man was found shot to death on the sidewalk outside a Pacoima bar early Friday, Los Angeles police said.
The body of the man, whose name was being withheld until relatives could be notified, was found on the sidewalk outside El Borrego bar in the 10400 block of Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Detective Manford Brown said. He had been shot repeatedly in the upper body, Brown said.
Police went to the bar at about 12:30 a.m. after receiving an anonymous call, he said.
Police believe there were witnesses to the shooting but have not yet located any, Brown said. Police do not know the motive and have no suspects, he said.
