Touring in China
As to that lovely list of hotels mentioned in Sharon Dirlam’s Tours and Cruises column Feb. 16 about Pacific Delight Tours, you know that once in China it is the Chinese International Tourist Service which is in charge. That means no guarantees; luck of the draw is the watchword. We were with them last October. Good trip but lots of changes. They are not quite ready to cope with the influx of Westerners. Pacific Delight does a good job at a truly competitive price, great service when they were in charge.
