The university of Salamanca and the University of Alicante are the sites of summer language study tours in Spain, offered by the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) of Greenwich.

In Salamanca, in northwest Spain about three hours from Madrid, students have the option of staying either in a university residence or with a family. The program is open to high school and college students as well as adults.

Alicante, on the east coast of the Iberian Peninsula, is one of the most popular resorts along Spain’s Costa Blanca. Students are housed with Spanish families to ensure full cultural immersion.
