Burroughs said it will probably cut its capital spending budget for 1986 if the computer business does not improve . . . Wickes Manufacturing, a unit of Wickes Cos., announced an agreement in principle to purchase Vera Imported Parts Corp. of Piscataway, N.J., for undisclosed terms . . . US West Inc. reported that about 3,600 employees elected to accept early retirement as a result of special incentive programs first announced in November, 1985 . . . Digital Equipment Corp. declared a 2-for-1 stock split in the form of a 100% stock dividend, payable May 9 to stockholders of record April 18.
