More ‘Brutal Frankness’

I am 28 years old, single, intelligent, very attractive, with a good body. My mother is 50 years old, single, intelligent, very attractive, with a good body. . . .

I go out and constantly see older men with younger girls. I have nothing against older men themselves, it is just the company they keep. The majority of them are escorting around town the bimbo-airhead types which lifts their egos but makes them look ridiculous. These relationships are good for one night, one week or one year. . . .

As for my mother’s point of view, she was appalled by this article suggesting that older women are washed up, over-the-hill, bitter, and should accept settling for second best or nothing at all. . . . My mother and I have too much self-respect and class to settle for second best.

If this is what the men in this town are all about, I wish them luck because when they need someone to take care of them in their old age, those same twinkies they were escorting around town will now be on the arms of younger, more virile men.
