Reagan’s Anger at Reporters

In response to your readers (Letters, March 13), who applaud President Reagan’s action of calling reporters “S.O.B.s,” it should be pointed out the motives of the President are different from those readers.

The President is trying to hide his actions from public scrutiny. Your readers are trying to hide his actions from themselves. There is no other explanation for people who refuse to believe independent, verifiable news reporting.
