Compton : Election Suit Postponed

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge last week postponed the trial of a lawsuit that challenges November’s Compton Community College trustee election in which board President Carl E. Robinson Sr. was defeated by a margin of three votes. Robinson, who filed the action against winning candidate James E. Carter, said the judge agreed to delay the proceedings so county election officials would have time to produce certain records in the case. A new trial date has been set for Wednesday.
