Ticket Sales for Concert That Counts

Tickets for the Concert That Counts, billed as the largest “pro-achievement and anti-drug awareness event ever held,” go on sale Monday via Ticketron outlets.
The concert marathon, featuring more than two dozen attractions including the Bangles, Oingo Boingo and Quiet Riot, will run from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. April 26 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Tickets are priced from $25 to $60.
Also scheduled for the program, sponsored by Global Media Ltd. and due to be broadcast live via satellite around the world, are Bon Jovi, Michael McDonald, Quiet Riot, Toto and X. Appearing via satellite will be James Brown, Aretha Franklin and Ozzy Osbourne.
