Man Arrested in Kidnap of S.D. Woman
A man suspected of abducting a San Diego woman at gunpoint and forcing her to drive with him to Nevada and Arizona will be charged Monday with kidnaping, the FBI said Saturday.
Sean Patrick Miller, 21, of Spring Valley, was arrested about 4:40 p.m. Friday by the Arizona Highway Patrol, FBI spokesman Gary Laturno said.
The arrest came after the victim, Cynthia Gladen, 20, passed a note to a woman in a restroom at a Glendale, Nev., gasoline station and restaurant indicating she had been kidnaped, Laturno said.
The Arizona Highway Patrol stopped a car used by the suspect on Interstate 15 about 20 miles inside the Arizona border and found Gladen inside unharmed.
