U.S. business may create 3 million jobs this year.

The predicted rate would represent a strong increase over the 2 million jobs added last year, according to the results of an annual Dun & Bradstreet survey. Small business once again will do most of the hiring, with companies that employ less than 100 workers providing nearly two-thirds of the expected new jobs. “Both business executives and consumers are optimistic about the prospects for economic growth this year, and this optimism is clearly reflected by the results of the survey,” said Joseph W.
