11-Story Tower Completed at the Koll Center Irvine

Construction has been completed on the newest building in Koll Center Irvine, an 11-story office tower with eight corner offices on each floor for smaller space users.

The $40-million building was designed by the architectural firm of Gensler & Associates for this market, which Richard M. Ortwein, president of the Koll Co.’s Newport Beach regional office, claims has been neglected.

John Pierce, a vice president in the same Koll office, agreed, saying, “This is a building of unusually high quality designed for the smaller space user, giving the small tenant the same prestige normally available only to larger tenants.”

Located on Von Karman Avenue and Michaelson Drive in Koll Center Irvine’s southwest sector, the tower includes 234,500 square feet of office space. A five-level parking structure for 811 cars was also completed.
