Nugget Award Deadline Near
Entry deadline for the 1986 Gold Nugget Awards, one of the nation’s largest regional design competitions, is April 23.
The contest is open to building projects that were open for sale or rental on or after Jan. 1, 1985, in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
One grand award and up to five merit award winners will be chosen in each of 32 categories, including single- and multifamily homes, commercial/industrial and remodeling projects, rental and for-sale developments and site plans.
Winners will be announced on June 20 during the 28th annual Pacific Coast Builders Conference in San Francisco. The contest’s principal co-sponsor is Sun/Coast Architect/Builder Magazine, published in Glendale.
