Citicorp met with Quotron but made no new offer.

Directors of Quotron Systems, which last month called Citicorp’s $680-million takeover bid inadequate, met with top Citicorp officials Thursday night but no negotiations occurred and no new proposals were requested by Quotron or offered by Citicorp, Quotron said Friday. Wall Street analysts have speculated that Citicorp will eventually sweeten the offer.
