Alps Death Toll Up to 24

ZERMATT, Switzerland —
Rescuers said Tuesday that they recovered the bodies of two avalanche victims in the Swiss Alps, raising this winter’s death toll to 24. Last winter, 55 people died in avalanches, a 15-year high.
