NMS Pharmaceuticals Inc. said Tuesday that its Self Care Systems Inc. subsidiary has submitted an application with the Food and Drug Administration to market a test kit for strep infections. The Newport Beach-based company said the Strep-A test kit, designed for use by health care professionals, is easier to use and gives faster results than tests currently on the market.
