La Habra : Council to Select New Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem
The city may have a new mayor Tuesday when the City Council selects a mayor and a mayor pro tem from its five-member body.
During the same meeting, current Mayor William D. Mahoney will be sworn in for another four-year term on the council, along with newcomer Douglas J. Bystry. Stepping down will be Mayor Pro Tem Kent Roberts, who lost his seat to Bystry in Tuesday’s election.
