Fullerton : Beating Victim Found Wandering on Street
Police were seeking information in the beating of a 25-year-old Placentia man who was found wandering the streets with serious head wounds Sunday morning, authorities said.
Lt. Richard Foisy said patrol officers found Alejandro Estrada wandering along Commonwealth Avenue near Gilbert Street in a residential neighborhood of west Fullerton at about 8:30 a.m.
“He had been struck several times on the head with some unknown object,” Foisy said.
Estrada was taken to Martin Luther King Hospital in Anaheim, where he remained in serious condition late Sunday after surgery for cuts about his head, Foisy said.
Detectives have been unable to learn much about the incident from the victim because Estrada lapsed in and out of consciousness Sunday, Foisy said.
An investigation is continuing, police said.
