As expected, the California Young Republicans concluded their annual convention by voting overwhelmingly, 88 to 16, to endorse the U.S. Senate candidacy of Rep. Ed Zschau of Los Altos. Leaders of the volunteer political group and organizers for Zschau said each viewed the other as “representing the future” of GOP politics. None of the other nine candidates in the race was considered for endorsement.
