Michael Chandler Weds Miss Crinion

Miss Mary Jean Crinion and Michael Otis Chandler exchanged marriage vows at St. Clements by the Sea Episcopal Church in San Clemente. A reception followed at the Dana Strand Beach and Tennis Club in Dana Point.

Members of the wedding party included Caryn Clinard, maid of honor, with the bridegroom’s sisters, Cathleen and Carolyn Chandler, serving as bridesmaids along with Mona Pursley, Susan Jacobson, Kim Underwood and Erin McGraw. Colleen McGraw was flower girl and Linda Vaughn presided over the guest book.

Roger Lee served as best man. Also attending the bridegroom were his brothers, Norman and Harry Chandler; Brian Crinion, the bride’s brother; Mark Wieda, Kenny Banks and Don Kay.

The bride is the daughter of Loren Crinion, formerly with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, and Mrs. Crinion of San Juan Capistrano. She attended Mt. San Antonio College.

The bridegroom is the son of Otis Chandler of Malibu, chairman of the Executive Committee of Times Mirror Co., and Mrs. Malcolm Stuart of Bel-Air, urban planner and president of Marilyn Brandt & Associates.

Michael Chandler, a former student at Orange Coast College, has been professionally involved in race-car competition, specifically Indy cars.
