Whittier : Search for Superintendent

Share

Residents will get a chance to comment on the type of person they want to replace retiring Supt. Norman Eisen in the Whittier Union High School District. Eisen will step down on June 30 after working in the district for more than three decades, including the past eight years as superintendent.

As part of the selection process, a special public meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. April 24. The hearing will give school board members a chance to hear comments by students, parents and residents about the type of superintendent they want to run the 9,700-student district, which covers Whittier and Santa Fe Springs.
