Congratulations From Christo

No one likes to lose, but I have a strong belief in our democratic process and a sincere belief in Bellflower. I am confident that our community is on a positive course.

Though I was not successful in the April 8 Bellflower municipal election, I intend to remain active in the community, and remain visible and informed of issues affecting local government and the City of Bellflower. It is important for every citizen to take an active role in local affairs.

I congratulate Bill Pendleton, Ken Cleveland and John Ansdell on their election victories. My compliments go to them for conducting fair and positive campaigns. I am certain they will make fine policy-makers for the City of Bellflower.

Bellflower has a fine city staff and I am sure they will serve the new City Council with cooperation and professionalism. Bellflower is a great place to live, and I am proud that I was afforded the opportunity to serve as a member of the City Council. I send thanks to all of my supporters, and best wishes to the successful candidates for productive and enjoyable terms of office.
