Condominium Project Offers Design Choices
Murphy Hill, Whittier’s newest hillside condominium community, opens its first phase this week end with 48 units from a total of 126 dwellings, of which 15 have already been sold.
The development, a project of Coast Construction Co., offers three design options: the town houses, the terrace villa and penthouse, all with one to three bedrooms, many with dens, in split-level or single-level elevations. The plans range in size from 1,077 to 1,768 square feet.
Units are priced from $145,500 to $190,900 for the villas; the town homes and penthouses from $159,500 to $197,500. The homeowners’ monthly fee will vary from $96 to $157.
The project has been designed in the California bungalow style to resemble single-family units, each with its own entryway and balcony or deck area.
The interiors feature such custom appointments as wood or ceramic tile entries, vaulted ceilings, skylights and greenhouse windows. A spacious outdoor recreation area includes a swimming pool, two spas and a patio barbecue facility.
A sales office at 13515 Murphy Hill Drive is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
