Liquor Store Robbed: A pair of armed robbers took about $100 from a liquor store in the Rossmoor Shopping Center on Seal Beach Boulevard late Monday, a police spokeswoman said. The robbers threatened a clerk at the Carriage Trade liquor store with a revolver, took the cash and fled on foot. The clerk summoned police by calling 911. One of the robbers was described as being in his late 20s, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds; he had a five-day growth of beard over a pockmarked face. The other robber was described as being in his early 30s, about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds, and had a 2-inch-long Afro hair style.
