OSHA’s Acting Director Announces Resignation

WASHINGTON —
Patrick R. Tyson, 38, acting head of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, announced his resignation Tuesday to become a parter in an Atlanta law firm. In February, Reagan announced the nomination of John A. Pendergrass as director of OSHA. Pendergrass, 60, has not been confirmed by the Senate.
