Amnesty

I am becoming increasingly infuriated by the recent rash of amnesty programs implemented by the State of California, namely in the areas of income tax and vehicle registration.

These programs are completely unfair to the law-abiding citizens of California who file their taxes and register their vehicles on a timely basis. The very people who are breaking these laws are the ones who are being rewarded by not being penalized for their actions during this supposed one-time amnesty campaign. I say supposed because I believe the state will do the very same thing at some time in the future when it decides to increase revenues.

It is about time for California to get on the ball and pursue these individuals more vigorously through law enforcement in order to correct this gross injustice being brought upon the majority of Californians.
