M. Lynne Thyrring has been promoted from vice president of sales and marketing to executive vice president of the California home-building division of Lifetime Homes of California Inc. Thyrring, who attended Bryn Mawr College on a scholarship, is a member of the Southern California Sales & Marketing Council and the Building Industry Assn.

Gary C. Fallon has been appointed vice president/manager subdivision sales for all Southern California offices of Chicago Title Co. Fallon is a member of the board of directors of the Building Industry Assn. of Southern California.

Libby Christenson, past president of the San Bernardino-Riverside chapter of the National Assn. of Women in Construction, was installed as national director for Region 12, which covers chapters in Southern California, southern Nevada and Hawaii. Christenson is a principal of E. D. Christenson, Accountancy Corp.

Charles F. Hawkins has been appointed senior vice president, general sales manager, of the Hanes Co. Inc. Hawkins will be responsible for overseeing the sales of Hanes’ six regional offices.

Steven P. Gaffney has been named assistant director of production of Buzard/Henning & Associates, San Diego-based architectural and planning firm.

Betty Norris, broker/manager of Bob Compton Realty, South Gate, has been awarded the Certified Real Estate Broker Manager designation by the National Assn. of Realtors’ Real Estate Brokerage Council.

Ted Kawai, a veteran of 10 years in real estate development finance, has joined National City-based McMillin Cos. as director of financial operations. Steve McSkimming, a CPA formerly with Laventhol & Horwath, has joined McMillin as corporate accounting manager, and Scott Medansky, previously senior project accountant for Ponderosa Homes, has been named McMillin’s manager of project finance.

Sally A. Greene has been appointed a project analyst in the Los Angeles office of Environetics International Inc., an interior architectural and office automation consulting firm.

Gail R. Mulcahy has been named vice president, real estate asset management, for Watson Land Co. She had previously served for eight years as industrial asset manager for the Irvine Co.

Glenn Quinn, Los Angeles county assistant assessor, retired on March 17 after 33 years of service. Assessor Alexander H. Pope has announced that Paul Hannah, director of assessment operations, would replace Quinn.

John B. Crisp of Century 21 Barrett Realtors, Newhall, has been elected 1986-87 president of the Sierra Pacific Flyfishers. He was a founder of the fishing and conservation club and served as president during 1974-75.

Ade Collie has joined Architects Orange as senior design associate. He formerly operated his own architectural office.

Philip J. Reilly, president and chief executive officer of Mission Viejo Realty Group, has been elected to the board of trustees of MONY Financial Services. He serves on the board of directors of Philip Morris Inc., Mission Viejo Realty Group, Philip Morris Credit Corp. and United Bank of Denver. Reilly is also a director of the Denver Symphony Assn., a trustee of USC and a member of the California State Bar.

Ray E. Rosenthal has been named vice-president, real estate brokerage, of the Alison Co., headquartered in Newport Beach. Before joining Alison he was vice-president and district manager of the Grubb & Ellis Co.’s area office in Salt Lake City.

Ronald R. McCallum, a CPA, has been named chief financial officer of Newport Beach-based Hopkins Development Co. He previously served with Kenneth Leventhal & Co.
