David M. McKenney, former first vice president and national marketing director at Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate, has joined Schneider Commercial Real Estate, Santa Ana, as executive vice president.

DeAnn Reynolds has been promoted to director of marketing for the southern division of the Koll Co., San Diego. In her new position, she will oversee marketing for all Koll San Diego County properties.

Gregory J. Bowcott has been appointed executive vice president and elected to the board of directors for Gibraltar MoneyCenter Inc.; David H. Pohl has been appointed senior vice president and secretary for the San Diego firm; William P. Garland has been appointed senior vice president and director of corporate operations, and Albert C. Hanley is new senior vice president of administration and insurance.

Sarah McAfee has joined Chevron Land & Development Co. at Ontario Center as joint ventures project manager. She will be directly responsible for Chevron’s role in the newly completed Hilton Hotel and First Financial Center office building.

Charles A. Holloway and Ronald V. Rosequist have been named to the board of directors of John Laing Homes, a subsidiary of London-based John Laing Co. Holloway is associate dean for academic affairs at Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Rosequist is director and shareholder of the law firm of Crosby, Heafey, Roach & May, headquartered in Oakland.

Cecelia A. King has been appointed vice-president/general manager of the real estate marketing firm of Fairway General Inc. She was formerly sales manager at Desert Princess Country Club and Resort.

David B. Loring has been appointed vice president of development for London Pacific Investments Inc., a Redondo Beach development firm. Prior to joining London Pacific, Loring was vice president of both Equidon Investments Builders and Equidon Contractors.

Norris R. (Nob) Scott has joined Legacy Financial Services Inc. as executive vice president. Previously, he served as loan marketing and major loan origination manager of Household Bank in Newport Beach.

Roger Chikhani has been named an associate with the Luckman Partnership Inc. of Los Angeles. Chikhani, who joined the firm in 1984, is in charge of project management and construction administration of the $90-million Cadillac Fairview office tower under construction at 6500 Wilshire Blvd., as well as other projects.

Aaron Cohn has been appointed senior architect; Richard Abe, senior project designer, and Jonathan Loring, project manager in the Pasadena headquarters office of Barasch Architects & Associates Inc., while Mark R. Pittman has been named project manager and marketing coordinator in the Thousand Oaks office.

Paul W. Miller has been named president of McMahan Corporate. He had been serving as McMahan’s executive vice president and is the first president of the McMahan chain who is not a member of the McMahan family.

Fred J. Ellrott is serving his second term as president of the Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries, Los Angeles. Ellrott is vice president of F&F; Heating, a family-owned business headquartered in Camarillo.

Thomas Wall has been appointed vice president for Polygon Commercial Development, a Costa Mesa-based real estate development company and affiliate of the Polygon Holdings Corp. Wall recently retired from active Marine Corps service as a lieutenant colonel.

Steven L. Sofka has joined Investor’s Mortgage Service Co. as assistant vice president and manager of the Santa Ana branch office.

Mark Hall, a principal in the Los Angeles-based architectural and urban design firm Archiplan, has been appointed by the California Council of the American Institute of Architects to serve on its government relations committee.

Robert G. Weamer Jr. has been awarded the Member Appraisal Institute designation by the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers. Weamer is a vice president of Cushman & Wakefield of California Inc. and manager of its Ontario division.

Larry D. Riggs has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for Warmington Homes, the Costa Mesa-based building firm. Riggs’ experience includes three years as a principal of Westwood Development.

Richard L. Pozzo, president of Edward M. Pozzo Co., has been elected chairman of the Los Angeles district of the Associated General Contractors of California. He was also elected vice chairman of the building division board of directors of the statewide contractor organization.

David A. Vitkus has been promoted to vice president of project management at Nielsen Construction Co. He is an authority on co-generation facilities.

Bonnie Triffon has been named new district property manager for Lincoln Property Co./Fore Division, supervising properties in areas from Santa Maria to Riverside.

Cindy Chilton has been named regional marketing director for Centennial Capital Inc. of Orange. Based in Stamford, Conn., Chilton will be responsible for the general marketing of all Centennial public offerings.

Dotti Price has been appointed vice president in charge of sales and operations for David Spiegel & Associates, a new home and condominium sales and marketing firm.

Bruce D’Eliscu has been promoted to vice president of Newport Beach-based Premier Homes, the Southern California subsidiary of Les Nouveaux Constructeurs, one of Frances’s major home-building companies.

John Arlotti Jr. and Robert D. Harrison of the Charles Dunn Co.’s brokerage division have been named partners. Two members of the property management division, James C. Ewing and Jeffrey G. Gunther have also been made partners of the Los Angeles real estate company.

Frank B. Wein, director of planning services for Michael Brandman Associates Inc. has been elected a commissioner of the American Institute of Certified Planners, the educational and professional institute of the American Planning Assn.

Michael B. Birnie has been named executive vice president of Iliff, Thorn & Co., San Diego. He joined the company after 17 years with Coldwell Banker Real Estate Co. where most recently he served as senior vice president and south central regional manager.
