S. Africa Store Blasted

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa —
An explosion believed to have been caused by a bomb damaged a supermarket in an affluent white suburb of Johannesburg on Wednesday. There were no injuries. The blast occurred outside a supermarket belonging to the Pick ‘n’ Pay chain, whose black employees began a nationwide strike Wednesday for higher wages.
