Copter Crash Kills 3 Marines

TWENTYNINE PALMS —
Three Marines were killed and one received minor injuries when a CH-53E helicopter crashed today during combat maneuvers at the desert training center. The identities of the Marines were unavailable pending notification of families.
The helicopter was stationed at the U.S. Marine Corps Air Station in Tustin, about 150 miles west of Twentynine Palms.
