BACK TO THE FUTURE: You just can’t...

BACK TO THE FUTURE: You just can’t keep some rock graybeards down on the farm. It seems as if every time we turn around, there’s another group of aging rockers getting back together, trying to recapture some of the old magic. In recent weeks, there have been reports of planned reunions of everyone from Led Zeppelin (with the Power Station’s Tony Thompson sitting in for the late John Bonham on drums) to the Buffalo Springfield and the Doobie Brothers, who’ve reportedly been working on a reunion album and a possible tour. Other planned revivals were said to include the Faces (with Rod Stewart on board); the Monkees, who would celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary this year (though Michael Nesmith is reportedly still a holdout), and the Allman Brothers, who have already staged a couple of “informal” get-together shows. Can the Strawberry Alarm Clock and the Standells be far behind? Which groups would you most like to see get back together--and why?
