Schembechler Hires Youngest Assistant
The Michigan Wolverines named two assistant football coaches, including the team’s youngest assistant ever, Athletic Director Don Canham announced.
Cam Cameron, 25, is the youngest full-time coach in team history. Cameron, who has served two years as a graduate assistant to Coach Bo Schembechler, will fill a newly created coaching post overseeing tight ends and punters, Canham said in a statement.
He is a graduate of Indiana University, where he played basketball and football.
Bill Harris, 38, was named wide receiver coach. Harris had served since 1984 as an assistant coach at Washington University. He also has been an assistant at Dartmouth, Western Michigan and Grand Valley State.
